Negatives & risksNo published long-term human safety data and almost no controlled human trials. The main theoretical concern is how it heals: it partly works by helping the body grow new blood vessels (a process called angiogenesis) and by prompting cells to multiply and move. Tumors rely on those exact same processes to grow beyond a tiny size and to spread - so, in theory, the same signal that heals a tendon could also feed a cancer a person does not yet know they have. This is unproven in either direction, but it is the reason caution is urged for anyone with a personal or family history of cancer, or who is overdue for screening. Also: gray-market products vary in purity, and mild reported effects include nausea and headache.No FDA-approved human use and only limited human data. Like BPC-157, it speeds repair partly by encouraging new blood-vessel growth and helping cells migrate into damaged tissue - and those are the very same processes a tumor uses to grow and to spread through the body. So there is a theoretical (unproven) worry that it could help an undiagnosed cancer along. This flag is taken a little more seriously for TB-500 because the natural protein it comes from (thymosin beta-4) has been linked to tumor progression in some studies. It is also banned in competitive sport (WADA), and gray-market purity is a real concern.
